Following a number of years of successful and continued growth, a multi-award-winning, Global Tech business, is looking to recruit a VP of People.


The company is looking to identify a proven Senior HR/ People Leader, to become part of executive leadership team and own the people strategy, with a key focus on executive talent acquisition, leadership development, talent development, reward, culture and O.D.

The brief for the selected candidate is quite simple - it's all about taking what is already a very successful business to the next level. The company has grown quickly and whilst HR policies and procedures have been developed by the existing, talented and committed team, the business requires a proven senior HR leader to develop and deliver a strong framework in order to drive a high-performance culture across all parts of the business.

The role would be most suited to a commercially focused and technically strong HR professional, with complete focus on excellence. You will have a broad HR background, but with particular strengths in Talent Acquisition (to support a significant increase in planned headcount), Leadership development and culture development initiatives. Previous experience in a high growth tech business or global business would be desirable.


Person Specification

  • Commercial acumen – Capacity to accommodate and influence strategic decision-making within the business.

  • Role model – As a senior member of the Leadership team, demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation.

  • Professional expertise – A strong and broad working knowledge of HR Policies, Employment law, OD, Executive Recruitment, Leadership Development

  • Organisational skills – personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

  • Communication skills – Emotional intelligence, the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others in a role requiring broad leadership skills.

  • Coaching and mentoring – Proficiency in developing skills across people at all levels within the organisation.

  • Trust – Trusted Advisor to the CEO and Leadership team. Be a trusted confidante on key issues and confident to provide opinions and expertise where appropriate.

  • International experience

  • Degree and/or CIPD qualified - you will have a highly successful track record in generalist HR and will enjoy an environment that is fast paced and where standards are high.

  • Intuitive, tactical, commercial and credible in equal measure, you will have a passion for change management and will be distinguished by your abilities to achieve excellence within the people agenda.
