About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our client’s Digital Marketing team based in London. The candidate will be responsible for driving global Search and Social strategy in conjunction with the regional digital and marketing teams. Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, the role will deliver best-in-class social media and search activity across brand and at a regional/channel level.

 

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of search and social strategy:

  • Maintain an understanding of the latest search and social advancements, networks, adoption and opportunities to ensure continual enhancement and delivery across the global business

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and regional Digital Managers to drive the social media and search elements of digital to ensure best-in-class campaign media is selected and delivered

  • Utilise search and social expertise to contribute to the development of the digital marketing strategy for existing and future regional channels

  • Support the on-going relationship with the regional Marketing teams; educating and sharing latest trends as appropriate

  • Support digital innovation across the region, working with all relevant teams and external suppliers

 

Support the implementation of search and social capabilities and standards in line with regional marketing strategy

  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, explore new search and social capabilities, platforms, trends and promote adoption across the region

  • Support the implementation of global standards, processes and embed best practice across regions and channels

  • Contribute to campaign design and development, promoting search and social usage as appropriate

  • Support the development and delivery of an “always on” search and social strategy using optimization and best-in-class approaches to drive results globally

  • Implement an analytical, test and learn culture so that the effectiveness of search and social programs are continually enhanced

  • Liaise with Editorial team to ensure content is produced with a digital-first mind set and appropriately delivered to the right audience at the right time

  • Support the organic search strategy for both brand and product campaign perspectives

  • Drive forward delivery of on-page optimisation with regional marketing and web development teams

 

Support the implementation and embedding of a robust digital marketing governance and measurement framework

  • Track, monitor and evaluate spend across regional digital marketing activity

  • Manage social media monitoring platform and ensure reporting and alerting is optimised for business area use

  • Ensure all digital and appropriate offline activity is focused towards data insight, optimisation and reporting

  • Implement core metrics to understand digital performance, enabling agility in response

  • Ensure practices align with regulatory standards and brand frameworks for all digital marketing activity

 

Skills & Experience

Social media

  • Experience running campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram

  • Extensive knowledge of ad platforms

  • Familiar with measurement frameworks and experience analysing and optimising campaigns

  • Experience working with enterprise-level social media tools e.g. Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Brandwatch

 

PPC

  • Experience running search and display campaigns

  • Proven track record of delivering high quality traffic

  • Experienced using PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Bing)

  • Excellent technical knowledge

  • Proficient using Google Analytics

 

SEO

  • Experience delivering SEO strategy across multiple markets

  • Experience utilising key SEO tools – Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Majestic etc.

  • Excellent technical SEO knowledge

  • Understanding of HTML and the SEO implications

 

Other

  • Google Analytics certified (Advantageous)

  • Strong, confident communicator at all levels

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing

  • Ability to simplify the technical

  • Innovative and keen to push the boundaries
