About The Company

The company is an international investigative research and risk advisory firm dedicated to uncovering critical risk-related information for our clients worldwide.

They specialize in investigative due diligence, investigations and security, and business intelligence research. Each project is executed by an in-house team with unmatched in-country expertise, using customized investigative methodologies.

Founded in Asia, the firm now operates from strategic locations in key financial and economic centres, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and New York.

About The Role

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director, to be based in its Tokyo office, focusing on managing risk projects (including due diligence, business intelligence and disputes) in Japan. They are looking for an experienced and self-driven individual who wants to be part of a high quality, diverse and busy team. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects across industries and will need to be capable of managing, and on occasion, autonomously executing risk projects.

You will be required to manage assignments and associates on a day-to-day basis. You will be expected to be able to carry out intensive research (both primary and secondary) and analysis of large amounts of data and then assess accuracy, reliability and relevance. You will also be expected to be able to produce and direct the production of high-quality written reports and charts and present your findings to clients, oftentimes under the supervision of or in collaboration with members of the firm's senior management team.
