Job Description

Seeking: Senior Associate to join a global investigations, intelligence and cyber services firm.


The Role

As a Senior Associates in the firm’s Due Diligence Practice, you will supervise a team of Associates and Analysts and conduct in-depth due diligence on behalf of a variety of clients.

You will conduct detailed open source and public records research on individuals and corporate entities, both domestic and international, in support of Pre-Transaction, Reputational Third Party, and Pre-Employment Due Diligence engagements and utilize U.S. and international public records sources to uncover criminal and civil litigation filings, bankruptcy proceedings, regulatory matters, and property records to produce high-quality, concise reports with limited grammatical and/or organizational errors.

You will also provide verbal briefings on due diligence engagements for senior practitioners and/or cliets. Senior Associates perform quality control reviews of outgoing reports, primarily focusing on Third Party, Anti-Money Laundering, and Pre-Employment Due Diligence reports.


Skills & Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field from an accredited university. M.A. and M.S. degrees are also highly sought after, but are not required

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience at the following or equivalent: risk mitigation, compliance, or forensics firm; government agency; or corporate compliance, ethics, security, or investigations department

  • Excellent research and/or investigation skills to include:

  • Proficiency researching through U.S. and international public records, including criminal and civil litigation, regulatory, property, and corporate records, among others

  • Proficiency conducting advanced open and deep web research through social media platforms and news media outlets, among others

  • Excellent written and communication skills to include:

  • Ability to concisely summarize complex criminal or civil litigation, regulatory issues, and business transactions, among other topics

  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once with limited supervision

  • A demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally manage and/or supervise colleagues

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work under tight deadlines and adjust schedule, as needed, for time-sensitive proects

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
