Senior Associate sought to join the Disputes & Investigations team within a leading London based professional services firm.

The company is a global valuation and corporate finance advisor specialising in complex valuation, disputes and investigations, M&A, restructuring, and compliance and regulatory consulting.

The Disputes & Investigations department works closely with all teams within the firm providing specialist advice to companies and lawyers who require detailed investigations to be undertaken or disputes to be resolved. This means a wide and varied exposure for you to be able to develop and gain further skills in areas such as financial crime, corporate fraud and corruption cases, and complex litigation and disputes including quantifying damages, determining contract disputes or providing commercial and strategic advice.

As a Senior Associate within an expanding team, you will gain unparalleled exposure to significant, high-profile projects relating to disputes and investigation matters, often working closely with colleagues in different business units or jurisdictions. As a Senior Associate, you will work to:
Support forensic accounting investigations
Assist litigation support assignments
Provide technical accounting advice to lawyers in order to help progress cases
Assist clients with their investigations into fraud or other financial issues
Project manage cases
"Build client relationships, identifying and sourcing new work, and new product development
Skills & Experience
An audit background, preferably at one of the top 10 accounting firms
Excellent academics and qualified at ACA or equivalent level, first time passes would be desirable.
A practice background but looking to grow your career in a more specialist environment
A logical and methodical approach to problem solving, as well as being able to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Strong numeracy skills with the ability to process and analyse large volumes of data
The ability to explain complex, technical issues in an understandable manner to lawyers and lay parties
Excellent report writing skills
The ability to establish effective working relationships - with a strong client focus
Proficiency in a European language in addition to English
