Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • To outbound prospects for business in order to close sales and therefore exploit currently untapped opportunities

  • To use the target hit lists provided to prioritise outbound effort

  • Work with Marketing to support a pipeline of incoming enquiries

  • Work through our existing database of leads whilst building a self-generated pipeline of new prospects

  • Meet and exceed revenue target, increase market penetration by acquiring new customers 

  • Manage end-to-end sales process from cold call to close, including prospecting/generating leads  

  • Setting up clients on the back-end 

  • Accurate reporting of sales pipelines  

 

Skills & Experience

  • Candidates must have at least one successful previous sales role, but ideally 2 or more

  • Minimum of 2 years Sales experience, ideally 3 to 5 years

  • Demonstrable track record of hitting financial targets

  • Experience of the full sales cycle from lead generation, cold contacting, trial or demonstrating a service/product, pricing and closing sales.

  • Ideally candidates must have one of either experience in sales of business intelligence services or have previously sold into the financial services sector.
