Job Description

Our client, a top financial services firm is looking to hire an HR Reward Analyst to join their London office.

 

The Role

The Reward Team is a specialist area within the Human Resources department, focusing on all aspects of Reward. Activities include annual pay & bonus reviews, and market competitive positioning. In this role specifically you will focus on Reward Analytics, and ongoing Reward Partnering with both HR and the Business.

There is a continual need to create factually accurate, high quality, graphical and analytical reporting on a wide range of Compensation related subjects. You will be responsible for creating a number of reports, both regular and ad-hoc, to assist the business as required. You will also be required to participate in wider HR and Reward & Benefits projects.


 

Key Responsibilities

Reward Analytics:

  • Responsibility for data submission to Market Data providers, including the updating of employee matches

  • Lead on production of Divisional competitive pay position reports, and ad-hoc reporting on market position

  • Ownership of Job Codes for the business areas supported

  • Ownership of Performance fee deferral calculations and associated payroll and shareplan instructions

  • Ownership of Fund remuneration disclosures

  • Creation and dissemination of regular reports where Reward data is required

  • Provision of ad-hoc analytical and logistical support through annual pay review cycle

  • Collaboration with other members of Reward and the wider HR Team to ensure reporting requirements are met

  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity processes are in place

 

Reward Partnering:

  • Build and maintain relationships with a number of HR and Business stakeholders

  • Key point of contact on Reward for a number of business areas

  • Organise and minute the Code Staff Compensation Committee, manage communications to affected code staff and manage sign off of AIF/USCITS fund lists

 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with insight & analytics in a large organisation.

  • Proficiency in SQL and using databases to access information.

  • Expert in the interpretation of complex results and turning data into insights.

  • Experience in marketing analysis, including campaign evaluation and brand studies.

  • Knowledge of some of the commons CMS and Data Systems.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience working as a Reward Analyst within the financial services industry would be beneficial

  • Significant experience of data manipulation and reporting, particularly using Microsoft Excel

  • Experience of working with databases (build and query design) advantageous, but not essential

Knowledge & Competence (MiFID II)

  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial markets function and the impact of economic figures and national/regional/global events on market

  • An understanding of issues relating to market abuse and anti-money laundering

  • Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:

  • Annual Performance Appraisal

  • Completion of all assigned Compliance training

  • Annual Attestation (Knowledge and Competence in-scope roles only)

  • At a minimum the role requires the individual to:
