We are seeking a Responsible Investment Manager to join a London based investment management firm.

 

About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, intellectually rigorous individual to play an important role in the firm’s responsible Investment development, building upon the organisation's already strong commitment to Responsible Investment.

The successful candidate will help with the build out of all Responsible Investment ('RI') related topics within the company. This role will be part of the EMEA Sales function collaborating closely with various internal key stakeholders.

Furthermore, one of the key responsibilities is to support the RI team with regards to all RI related initiatives, as well as broaden and deepen the know-how of the sales teams. The candidate will be key part of the team in charge of defining processes for the messaging, investment offering and sales efforts aligned with RI investments

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for sales and internal key stakeholders on all RI related projects and responsible for integrating RI across the wider business

  • Work closely with the RI team to broaden and deepen the understanding of sales teams and about key RI issues that are evolving within the investor landscape

  • Advancing and implement RI across the firm’s investment offerings, and sales efforts, as well as help shape the firm’s message in RI

  • Conduct and participate in client meetings when necessary

  • Manage existing and develop of new marketing materials, website on RI topics

  • Work with various internal teams to organise responses to RI related questions

  • Create, review and/or develop progress reports for delivery to Co-Heads of Responsible Investment

  • Evaluate fund managers sustainable competitive advantages

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong academics - ideally a Master's degree

  • Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience in finance and particularly with exposure to ESG/RI related projects

  • Experience in leading large, complex projects

  • Ideally has experience in managing a team

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and results-driven

  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office package
