Job Description

In-House Recruiter sought to join a leading intelligence and investigations firm. This is a 6-month contract, operating out of the firm’s Bristol offices.

The HR team is currently experiencing some transition and to help bridge that gap, they are looking for some interim assistance with recruitment. This position will be located in the firm’s Bristol office, but ultimately has the ability to work from home much of the time.

This is primarily a 6 month contract that could be extended or made permanent. This role could be recruiting for positions in both the UK and the US (no prior US experience required – but would be valuable if you have it). Ideal candidates will have a strong background recruiting within / for the disruptive technology space, reputation analytics space, etc.

You will join a small, fast paced, friendly team looking for someone who can come on board quickly and hit the ground running! You will have the ability to be able to work independently, but be highly collaborative, flexible ( internal clients may approach recruitment differently and the team aims to accommodate), exhibit high personal accountability and drive result around recruitment efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching, creating and updating job descriptions as needed

  • Handling direct hire, as well as partnering with staffing firms (when the need is necessary) to ensure the team meet hiring timelines

  • Managing job postings you are responsible for on Workable (ATS), LinkedIn, Stack Overflow and other relevant job boards

  • Conducting heavy direct searches for positions – the firm operates on an objective of 70% > direct hire.

  • Building strong candidate pipelines to support immediate business needs and future requirements

  • Managing the candidate process via the company’s applicant tracking system (Workable)

  • Socialising open positions on Corporate LinkedIn and Facebook pages

  • Pre-screening candidates for managers – provide valuable screening notes and highlight any important flags (positive and/or areas that require additional probing)

  • Coordinating interview scheduling for managers, relevant team members and panel interviews

  • Managing communications with Hiring Managers and candidates throughout entire hiring process

  • Coordinating all relevant resources and provide instruction to candidates related to panel interviews

  • Conducting reference checks and provide feedback to managers

  • Extending offers to candidates at manager’s discretion and direction

  • Providing weekly reporting and recruiting updates to the Director, Human Resources

 

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years experience in a high volume recruitment environment

  • In-house experience required

  • Experience in or recruiting for a cloud based disruptive technology environment highly beneficial

  • Strong experience building talent pipelines and delivering against a high volume of recruits within a specified timeline

  • Expertise in Boolean searches, innovative sourcing tools and social networking sites, along with more traditional sourcing techniques

  • Solid understanding of appropriate legal and compliant employment processes

  • Must be discrete and able to manage confidential information

  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the business

  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Good command of the English language – verbal and written

  • Good with numbers

  • Strong experience using search tools in LinkedIn and other job boards required

  • Strong level of comfort with technology (MS Office – Word, Excel required – PowerPoint a plus, applicant tracking systems, social media, smart phone, etc.)

  • Some travel required

  • Do what it takes attitude - recruitment is not a 9 am – 5 pm job - the team works around candidates that need to interview early or later in the day

  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload

  • Friendly, flexible disposition, good sense of humour

  • Committed – you take what you do seriously and doing a good job and adding value for those you partner with is important
