Job Description

We are currently working with a top asset management firm, who are looking to hire a Product Manager to join their London based team.

You will product manage the company’s range of UK regulated funds to ensure that they are operated in the best interests of the funds and their investors, in line with current law and regulation, as well as supporting new product development, enhancement or closure of funds.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the governance of the existing in-house fund range, as well as overseeing the governance of external third party funds where the company is the delegated investment manager.

  • Delivering fund changes in line with MIFID, UCITS, PRIIPs, FCA and other regulatory requirements (such as the Asset Management Market Study).

  • Owner of fund documentation including Prospectus, Factsheets and KIID/ KIDs and responsible for their maintenance and update.

  • Oversight of the timely production and dissemination of EMTs/ EPTs/ EFTs, in conjunction with Fund Operations.

  • Oversight of the calculation of costs and charges (including implicit costs) across in-house and external funds, in conjunction with the Risk & Performance team and Fund Operations.

  • Develop and maintain third-party relationships, including external fund consultants, other suppliers (including the Depositary), the Investment Association, relevant law firms and where the company is a sub-investment manager such as True Potential, VAM and other distributors of collective investment schemes.

  • Attend and contribute to all relevant governance committees, including but not limited to, the Fund Board, the Investment Review Committee and the Fund Oversight Committee (and relevant sub-committees thereof).

  • To be the subject matter expert within the company on collective investment schemes, the structuring and management of these schemes.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key members of the Management Team, the Investment Management Team, Fund Operations and control functions.

  • Review and contribute to the negotiation process for key fund contracts, in conjunction with Fund Operations and Legal.
