Job Description

We are working closely with a top-tier investment management firm in recruiting an experienced Marketing Analyst for an exciting role in London.

 

The Role

The Marketing Analyst's primary responsibility is to assist the Global Marketing & Communications function, specifically to take responsibility for the coordination with the Global Head of Marketing and production of internal communications, including news updates and announcements; market and competitor monitoring and reporting; the coordination of internal and external email campaigns; coordination of speaking engagements at industry conferences; arranging corporate photo shoots; and general marketing support for the team.

Ensuring the consistent representation of the the company brand in all communications, the candidate will also assist ias may be required from time to time with PowerPoint presentations, which are managed by the Presentations Executive and Head of Client Communications.

This role is full time and will be based in company’s London office. The Marketing Analyst will work closely alongside and report to the Global Head of Marketing and Communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient delivery of a program of informative internal communications, including the development of a communications calendar

  • Ownership of the annual marketing calendar

  • Development of a quarterly internal newsletter and fundraising updates

  • Generation of creative ideas for  marketing materials and opportunities, including (but not limited to) newsletters, email campaigns, presentations, and videos

  • Management and communication of the firm’s attendance at industry conferences to ensure high profile presence at priority conferences

  • Informing the Client Service and Investment teams about  competitors' marketing, product and fundraising intelligence

  • Ad hoc marketing research projects

  • Arrangement and management of occasional Survey Monkey polls of clients and staff

  • Working closely with colleagues in the Marketing team and other teams such as Client Service and Compliance

  • Supporting the Global Head of Marketing and Communications and the Head of Client Communications with other ad hoc marketing activities / projects where required

 

Skills & Experience

  • An ability to think creatively and innovatively, with a desire for continuous improvement

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbally

  • A keen knowledge of and interest in social media tools, emerging technologies and best practice content management

  • Precise attention to detail

  • Confidence to deal with all levels of management

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Publisher

  • Knowledge of Dotmailer and Adobe Illustrator is also desirable

  • Bachelor's degree required
