Lawson Chase is working closely with a top Investigations, Risk & Intelligence Services firm in recruiting an HR and Operations Manager to join their Bristol team.

About The Role
The firm is looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial HR and Operations Manager working with the CFO in the Bristol office. It's an exciting opportunity, supporting an expanding business - making sure best practice HR Policies are followed and leading the HR development agenda across the business and in both key markets - UK and US.
You will lead, maintain and enhance the HR function, supporting all day to day payroll and ER activities whilst supporting L&D initiatives to develop employees and support the company's growth plans.
Candidates will have a strong track record in HR operations in the US and UK/Europe. This candidate would benefit from a background in a Product/Technology company or a consulting company.
Direct reporting line to CFO
Partnership with Head of Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand
Supporting L&D efforts with Management Team
Building a small team of Operations Managers/Facilities Managers
Management of the HR function, processes, assigned projects and resources including supervision of the administration of HR and associated payroll systems
Lead the HR function in the delivery of operational advice and assistance across the full range of HR issues, including discipline, grievance, organisational change, as well as advice on the interpretation of Company HR policy in compliance with Company and Statutory requirements and best practice
Support managers ensuring an understanding of their business objectives and to ensure the adequate provision of HR support and advice as necessary to achieve those objectives, and manage any associated risks
Schedule and conduct annual salary evaluations. Recommend and plan salary revisions based on findings
Ensure appropriate advice and support to managers in the management of their teams in compliance with Company policies and relevant employment law and best practice
Maintain and monitor employee performance reviews
Work closely with managers and team leaders to support ER and develop team members
Assist in the strategic development, review and improvement of HR policies, procedures and processes in all countries
Responsibility for ensuring pension and medical cover is accurate
Support and execute on Recruitment processes and procedures
Manage HR and Personnel tools and systems and interfaces with key company reporting systems (KPI, Finance, Recruitment, etc)
Pension provision - contribution matching starts at 2% of salary, rising 1% per annum of employment to a cap of 5%.
Annual Vacation - 25 days for first 3 years of service, rising to 28 days for years 4 and 5. Upon completion of 5 years, holiday entitlement is raised and capped at 30 days.
Flexible office environment - location & hours
Bristol-based with London travel to London office and also supporting existing West Coast employees and development of East Coast office.
