Job Description

Lawson Chase are working closely with a Swiss based company who are looking to hire a Compliance Assistant to join their London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing accurate due diligence research and maintaining records on new and existing counterparts

  • Maintaining and enhancing effective interaction and communication with business leads

  • Keeping up to date with existing and upcoming regulation affecting the business and being proactive in implementing processes

  • Escalating all concerns and issues as appropriate

 

Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level

  • Previous research experience preferable

  • Awareness of compliance relevant regulations such as the UK's Bribery Act , USA 's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCFJA) and the Joint Money laundering Steering group guidance

  • Must possess independent and critical thinking and investigative mindset

  • Must be analytical, methodical and exhibit attention to detail in all the tasks he/ she attempts

  • Driven and curious personality

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience or interest in data analytics/quantitative research

  • Experienced at working with a high level of trust and integrity

  • Hardworking, keen and enthusiastic
