The platform enables the analyst to collect, store, search and analyse external data alongside a client’s internal information. The platform can be customised to integrate with databases and data feeds specified by the client, such as e-disclosure or document management systems. The company now have software clients in the UK and around the world in sectors including government, financial services, legal, major corporate and risk consulting.
About The Role
The company want to recruit a Client Engagement Manager to join an expanding client facing team in London. This is an outstanding opportunity to be at the heart of building the business. The firm uses innovation and excellent client service to make a real impact. The clients are in the top tier of their sectors. They are increasingly international and diverse.
You will be an executive with at least 5 years of commercial experience and with a strong reputation among your peers in risk consulting or similar professional services. During that period you will have worked closely with clients both winning new business and managing relationships across a number of sectors. Most importantly you must be an ambitious self-motivated individual keen to work in a small but dynamic fast moving and rapidly growing company and able to hold your own among a highly talented team of client managers and account executives. You will be working closely with the Board of Directors who also own the business and you must possess excellent communication skills.
Business Development in the form of engaging with prospective clients in various sectors including government, legal, corporate, risk consulting and financial services, to present demonstrations of software face to face on client site or on premises and to handle negotiations towards client onboarding/software licence sales including advising on use case. Identification of new leads and attendance at corporate and networking events and responding to leads. Some account management will also be involved of existing clients.
Ordinary place of work will be London but with occasional attendance at Cambridge office (travel expenses refundable) and visits to prospects and clients in the UK and overseas, in particular the US.
Reporting Line: Reporting to the Management Board. Working collaboratively with other client engagement managers and in particular the Head of Client Engagement.
