Our client, a London based cybersecurity and intelligence firm is looking to appoint a director to head their business development efforts.
The company currently recruiting for an articulate, ambitious and highly motivated Director of Business Development who has a proven track record in closing sales. The successful candidate will have a consultative approach to developing new business and growing strategic accounts, along with a demonstrable track record influencing outcome at board level.
You will be a collaborative leader with vision and able to drive performance. Liaising closely with the team to understand niche capabilities, you will provide input and ideas on how to expand and innovate products and services to exceed client expectations.
The role requires an experienced senior sales executive with 5 years plus of business development experience to large corporate entities. This experience must be built on a thorough understanding of all aspects of business development. This will include consistent and effective prospecting, specific sector and target strategies, high level proposal and bid writing and detailed account management strategies.

Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ direct business development / sales experience with a proven track record of senior account management with large corporate entities.
Proven experience in the Corporate Intelligence or Professional Services (consultancy) sector would be advantageous as would an existing relevant network in the UK.
Batchelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Strong interpersonal skills.
