About The Role

The company is the leading independent global political risk and research consulting firm. The firm is now looking for a talented associate for the Middle East and North Africa Practice. They are a close-knit team looking for a creative and collaborative colleague who shares a passion for politics. Your role will include political analysis, client engagement strategy, consulting, and conference preparation.  

The work environment is often fast-paced and very demanding. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual rigor, and strong discipline. You must have excellent written and oral presentation skills in English and be comfortable presenting. Your research work will contribute to the MENA team’s written products and views on different countries in the region.

Your client engagement work will be focused on building interaction with potential clients in the MENA region. Your will be supporting an outreach strategy with the head of the MENA practice. As part of the job you will travel to different countries in the Gulf region to establish contact with potential clients, build trust, and intelligently present the wide range of political services.

Your media and conference work will be designed to build the brand of the Middle East and North Africa team in the Gulf region. You develop a relationship with the local press and broadcasters and intellectuals and journalists that would have insights into the region. You will potentially work on organizing a Middle East political risk conference with the head of the region.


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience; experience in politics, sales, or consulting preferred.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, business, economics, international affairs, or relevant field.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, a strong sense of attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter.

  • Fluency in Arabic/French is preferred.
