Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of reputational risk solutions is looking to appoint an Account Director.

 

About The Role

Client Partners/Account Directors are the face of the company to our enterprise clients and their senior stakeholders. Your responsibilities vary, and the role is dynamic, encompassing, but not limited to, (1) scoping and managing projects with our clients, (2) analysing the company’s reputation intelligence product outputs and determining insights for risk and reputation management, (3) developing deep knowledge of relevant clients and their sectors, and (4) building trusted and valued client / stakeholder relationships. 5) Taking ownership of commercial success in terms of renewals and upsell in existing customers 6) Supporting new business development particularly related to completion of successful trials and pilots with prospective customers.

This particular role will benefit from Enterprise-level expertise, as well as professional experience focused on reputation and risk management at a corporate level (i.e. Communications, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Marketing, Analytics, Investor Relations, etc.).

 

Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above, as an Account Director/Client Partner you will:

  • Become an expert in understanding the the platform and its suite of products

  • Be comfortable embedding yourself in a client organisation so that you understand the opportunities, challenges, day-to-day experience and needs of those individuals responsible for maintenance of the client’s reputation, including corporate communications, corporate affairs, citizenship/sustainability and brand strategy.

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience, assisting our clients in realising the value of the platform and insights, and ensuring their success, satisfaction and retention

  • Become invaluable to client(s) as the company’s embedded platform expert, supporting the client by:

    • Driving internal recognition of reputation solutions powered by the company

    • Partnering with clients in understanding their business challenges and working with them to understanding how to effectively utilise company solutions and insights to solve challenges around reputation and risk management

    • Building strong, valued relationships with clients, shape client engagement strategies, influence critical decisions through strong stakeholder insights, and marketplace intelligence to enhance client performance and experience

    • Proactively gaining an in-depth understanding of the business landscape of your clients, including strategy, issues, key stakeholders and challenges

    • Creating rich and insightful data analytics and communicate (verbal, written and in presentation format) to key stakeholders at all levels within a client organisation, from analysts to C-level executives

    • Advising and helping to deliver client reputation strategy, stakeholder and issue prioritisation, and communication planning to enhance support amongst stakeholders both internal and external

    • Determining and validating stakeholder engagement parameters and driving impact relevant KPI’s and metrics (staff and board-level as needed)

    • Directing analyst team to create platform dashboards and visualisation approaches to address client challenges and priorities

    • Supporting, reviewing and managing client projects through their full life cycle

    • Keeping up with industry and sector trends and suggest best practices related to the solutions for clients

    • Understanding how to best probe through ambiguity to gain the information needed, and effectively translating client needs into requirements for our technical team as needed

    • Proactively work to gain insight and conduct in-depth needs analyses to determine how best to create solutions for our clients, in both a pre-sales environment and as new opportunities and challenges arise with existing customers

    • Providing product demonstrations to clients and prospects

    • Driving case studies for internal and external consumption and credibility

    • Working closely with the Customer Success team to ensure excellent customer experience for client(s)

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience:

    • Focused on reputation management (PR, PA, Corporate Comms, etc. background) delivering risk management products / solutions to large corporates

    • Consultative, business and technology solutions role, working directly with clients providing valuable insights

    • Providing customer insights, business analytics, consulting, market research or related field - including analysing, manipulating, interpreting, and presenting data along with providing recommendations – preferably in the area of risk or reputation management

  • Experience with digital listening, artificial intelligence, big data, natural language processing (NLP), text analytics or social media monitoring and analytic platforms

  • Proven success in delivering business value to c-level executives (i.e. working with, providing advice to, etc.)

  • Experience interacting and partnering at all levels of within an organization and ability to influence decisions not directly in your sphere of control

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to create and present content client facing (on-site / remote platform presentations, PPT presentations, presenting both to multiple stakeholders via meeting format)

  • Critical thinker, demonstrating good business acumen and professional gravitas

  • Strong problem solver

  • Ability to make sound judgement calls / decisions when faced with ambiguity

  • Plan initiatives, generate task lists, set priorities, and drive to completion

  • Manage multiple priorities to timeline

  • Possess a work style that’s collaborative, flexible, agile, passionate, self-directed and entrepreneurial in nature

  • Exhibit expertise in understanding and managing complex, multi-dimensional projects across sectors / industries having a significant client impact

  • Proven experience in being able to think big (strategic vision) and manage small (tactical execution)

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, passionate and energetic self-starter, strong sense of urgency, and high personal accountability

  • Excellent people and management skills – internal and external to an organisation

  • Strong relationship management experience

  • Passionate customer advocate

  • Ability to travel to client sites

  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
