Managing Director of Marketing
We were hired by TD International to find their first Head of Marketing. This US consulting firm had aspirations to develop their brand, leads and revenue through investing in a new marketing function.
The challenge
TD International is a US based Due Diligence and Investigations consultancy business, headquartered in Washington DC. The business had grown organically through relationships cultivated by senior professionals and through word-of-mouth. The President of TD International determined that further business growth and brand recognition could be readily achieved through investing in a dedicated Marketing function and enlisted Lawson Chase to search for a revenue-driving Marketing leader from within the Professional Services market in DC.
The solution
Our approach to fulfilling this search mandate was to call heavily upon trusted relationships in the DC market for their trusted referrals and recommendations. One name came up consistently for a marketing leader who was held in high esteem by previous colleagues within multiple platforms. Our preferred candidate had held senior Marketing positions in firms such as Control Risks, Kroll and Aon Stroz Friedberg. Lawson Chase were able to bring this individual to TD International who ultimately offered her a newly created role as Head of Marketing.
