Head of EMEA Forensic Technology
Aon Stroz Friedberg sought to bolster their revenue driving leadership team through hiring an EMEA Head of Forensic Technology. Lawson Chase were exclusively appointed to manage this search.
The challenge
Aon Stroz Friedberg is a global consultancy business that specialises in cybersecurity and digital forensics engagements. During a period of rapid expansion, the leadership board identified a requirement to develop a market-leading presence within Forensic Technology for their European business. It was desirable that the senior individual hired would be able to increase market penetration within the Legal sector, that they could bolster revenues from external-counsel firms and would be able to bring a book of business to the firm. Lawson Chase were appointed to manage this engagement on an exclusive basis.
The solution
Lawson Chase worked with the Aon Stroz Friedberg regional management to develop a strategy to identify and appoint a Forensic Technology leader. We conducted a market mapping exercise and delivered a shortlist of viable professionals from competitor advisory businesses. Our focus was on identifying those who could deliver revenue fast, who had a book of business within external counsel and who could bring their rolodex of contacts with them. The candidate identified by Lawson Chase was able to bring significant expertise in Forensic Technology as well as Information Governance & Privacy, significant client relationships within Law Firms and a track record in delivering profitable expert witness engagements.
